Samsung's new "puzzles". Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 compared to its predecessors, it boasts significantly greater durability and a stronger and more robust joint mechanism. The first mentioned phone it already confirmed in practice, now the third Flip has passed the durability test. Specifically, it passed the durability test of YouTuber Zack Nelson from the popular JerryRigEveryThing channel. And he did more than competently.

As always, Nelson started with a test of the display's resistance to scratches. The Flip 3's exterior screen started showing scratches when using a Mohs 6 "gouge". When using a grade of harder "grit", deeper grooves were already visible on the display. As for the internal display, scratches started to form on it already when using the tip of hardness level 1 and 2.

The second test was the fire resistance test (lighter fire, to be more precise) - in which both screens only started to show signs of burning after 25 seconds.

The phone performed very well, even brilliantly, in the bend test - its hinge did not break even after several attempts. It worked flawlessly and quietly even after dirt and dust was dumped on it. This is a huge improvement over Samsung's first generation of foldable smartphones. So the new Flip deservedly got a "thumbs up" from Nelson.
