Samsung continues to roll out the October security patch to more devices. One of its latest recipients is the affordable smartphone Galaxy A02s.

New update for Galaxy The A02s carries firmware version A025MUBS2BUI1 and is currently distributed in Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico and Panama. In the following days, it should spread to other countries of the world. The update also brings "mandatory" fixes for unspecified general bugs and stability improvements.

The new security patch fixes a total of 68 security and privacy-related exploits. In addition to the fixes for the vulnerabilities provided by Google, the patch includes fixes for more than three dozen vulnerabilities that Samsung found in its system. The patch includes bug fixes for 6 critical vulnerabilities and 24 high-risk vulnerabilities.

Galaxy The A02s was launched this January with Androidem 10 "on board". In the spring, it received an update with Androidem 11 and the One UI 3.1 superstructure.
