In the last few years, the photographic systems in smartphones have reached such a level of quality and functionality that it may not make sense even to many technology fans. A great example of this fact is the smartphone Galaxy S21 Ultra, which is the focus of Samsung's new campaign called “Filmed #withGalaxy".

As is a popular marketing habit these days, Samsung confided Galaxy S21 Ultra to professionals to showcase their art using its video capabilities. One of them is the winner of the Golden Globe for the film Repentance, British director Joe Wright. The filmmaker, who is also known for Pride and Prejudice or Darkest Hour, shot a short film called Princess & Peppernose using his phone. He specifically used his 13mm wide-angle camera to shoot wide and close-up shots.

Another artist who got his hands on the top model of the current flagship range is Chinese director Mo Sha, who shot the short film Kids of Paradise through it. For a change, Mo used the Director's View mode to get three different views of the same scene. Both films will premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, which is currently underway.

In a similar way, Samsung promoted the phone back in February, when it made it available to a British artist photographer named Rankin to test its photographic capabilities.
