At the beginning of the month, the website SamMobile exclusively reported that the expected "budget flagship" of Samsung Galaxy The S21 FE will be launched in January next year, and not in the last quarter of this year as previously speculated. The fact that the phone will indeed be presented in January has now been confirmed by respected leaker Jon Prosser, who specified that the launch will take place on January 11.

Samsung had Galaxy The S21 FE was originally supposed to be revealed in October, or in the remaining months of the year, but according to sources on the SamMobile website and others, this is no longer the case. At one point, some media even speculated that the Korean tech giant was considering "cutting" the phone.

According to some anecdotal reports, there is a chance that Galaxy The S21 FE will be launched this week as part of the event Galaxy Unpacked Part 2, however, in light of the new information, this possibility is unlikely.

The main reason why Samsung had to postpone the presentation of the next "budget flagship" is apparently the ongoing global chip crisis.
