Samsung's next flagship series Galaxy According to unofficial information so far, the S22 will offer faster hardware, improved cameras or thinner frames, but one important hardware function will be missing according to the new leak - just like the current "flagships" Galaxy S21.

According to a leaker who goes by the name Tron on Twitter, there will be a turn Galaxy The S22 lacks a microSD card slot. Last year's series was the last Samsung flagship to have a "memory stick" slot Galaxy Footnote 20.

Virtually all phones except iPhones used to have a microSD card slot, but fast internal storage has made it obsolete over time. In fact, microSD card slots can have a negative effect on the overall user experience, as they hamper read and write speeds across the board and actually slow down the phone.

Series models Galaxy The S22 will reportedly offer 128GB of internal storage at the base, which can fill up fairly quickly these days, and then 256GB and 512GB (and 1TB is speculated for the Ultra model), which seems like a much better option in the long run .

How do you see it? Is the memory card slot important to you and what do you think is the optimal storage size for a flagship smartphone? Let us know in the comments.
