Samsung continues to roll out the November security patch to more devices. One of its latest recipients is the flexible phone Galaxy From Fold 3.

New update for Galaxy The Z Fold 3 carries firmware version F926BXXS1AUJB and is currently distributed in Austria, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia. It should reach other countries in the following days.

The November security patch includes Google fixes for three critical vulnerabilities, 20 high-risk vulnerabilities and two moderate-risk exploits, as well as fixes for 13 vulnerabilities found in smartphones and tablets Galaxy, of which Samsung labeled one as critical, one as high risk, and two as medium risk. The patch also fixes 17 bugs that are not related to Samsung devices. The Korean tech giant also fixed a critical bug that caused sensitive information to be stored insecurely in Property Settings, allowing attackers to read ESN (Emergency Services Network) values without permission. And last but not least, the patch also resolved bugs caused by missing or incorrect input checks in HDCP and HDCP LDFW, which allowed attackers to override the TZASC (TrustZone Address Space Controller) module and thereby compromise the TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) main processor secure area.

Galaxy The Z Fold 3 was launched at the end of August with Androidem 11 and the One UI 3.1.1 superstructure. A few days ago, the beta version of the One UI 4.0 superstructure arrived on it (so far only in the US). The phone will get three major upgrades in the future Androidu.
