At the beginning of November, we reported that Samsung's next flagship series Galaxy The S22 is expected to be unveiled in early February. Now, a report has hit the airwaves that clarifies that date and also states when the line will go on sale.

According to respected leaker Jon Prosser, the Samsung line Galaxy S22 will premiere on February 8th at 10am ET (16pm EST). It will reportedly enter a week-long pre-order period the same day and will be launched on the market on February 18.

As in previous years, the new flagship line should consist of three models. According to the leaks so far, the basic one will have a LTPS display with a diagonal of 6,1 inches, FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a triple camera with a resolution of 50, 12 and 12 MPx and a battery with a capacity of 3700 or 3800 mAh.

The S22+ model will reportedly get a 6,5-inch LTPS display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, the same camera as the base model, and a battery with a capacity of 4500 or 4600 mAh.

The highest model - S22 Ultra - should then be equipped with a 6,8-inch LTPS screen, QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, quad camera with 108, 12, 10 and 10 MPx resolution and a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support . Like the other models, it should be powered by Qualcomm and Samsung's upcoming flagship chipsets Snapdragon 898 and Exynos 2200.
