As you may remember, a few weeks ago the popular Geekbench 5 benchmark "visited" the top model of Samsung's next flagship series Galaxy S22 – S22 Ultra, specifically in the version with the upcoming flagship chip of the Korean giant Exynos 2200. Now a version with the recently introduced Qualcomm flagship chip has also appeared in it Snapdragon 8 Gen1.

Galaxy The S22 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is listed on the Geekbench 5 benchmark database under the codename SM-S908U (probably the US variant) and is paired with 8 GB of RAM (according to earlier leaks, the top model of Samsung's next flagship series will have 12 and 16 GB of RAM; so it appears to be a test prototype) and software-wise it runs on Androidin 12

The smartphone scored 1219 points in the single-core test and 3154 points in the multi-core test. For comparison – the variant with Exynos 2200 achieved 691 and 3167 points. It should be mentioned that we are talking about prototypes here, the performance of the retail version of the phone (both with this or that chip) may vary.

Galaxy According to available leaks, the S22 Ultra will get a 6,8-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a quad camera with a resolution of 108, 12 and 10 and 10 MPx, a 40MPx front camera, an S Pen stylus and a battery with with a capacity of 5000 mAh and support for fast charging with a power of 45 W.

Advice Galaxy The S22 should be launched on February 8 and go on sale ten days later.
