Samsung has also improved the hinge of both phones by using Sweeper technology to prevent dust from entering its moving parts. According to him, the new joint can withstand up to 200 opening and closing operations, which corresponds to a period of use of around five years. The "benders" also boast IPX8 water resistance, which means you don't have to worry about taking them outside when it's raining or accidentally dropping them in water.
