At CES 2022, Samsung unveiled its all-new portable projection and entertainment device, The Freestyle. The latest technology and extraordinary flexibility offer the best possible image in any conditions and much more fun for all those who do not want to give up technical conveniences even on the go.

The Freestyle is primarily aimed at Generation Z and Millennials. Can be used as a projector, smart speaker or mood lighting device. Thanks to its compact shape and weight of only 830 grams, it is easily portable, so you can take it anywhere with you and turn any space into a small cinema. Unlike conventional cabinet projectors, the design of The Freestyle allows the device to rotate up to 180 degrees, so it can project a high-quality image anywhere you want - on a table, on the floor, on a wall, or even on the ceiling - and you don't need a separate projection screen.

The Freestyle features state-of-the-art fully automatic leveling and keystone correction. These functions make it possible to adapt the projected image to any surface at any angle so that it is always perfectly proportional. The automatic focus function ensures a perfectly sharp image in all conditions, up to a size of 100 inches. The Freestyle is also equipped with a dual passive acoustic speaker for faithful bass emphasis. Sound flows in all directions around the projector, so no one will be deprived of a full-fledged experience when watching a movie.

In addition to plugging into a regular power outlet, The Freestyle can also be powered by external batteries that support the USB-PD fast charging standard with a power of 50W/20V or higher, so it can be used in places where electricity is not available. Thanks to this, users can take it anywhere with them, whether they are traveling, on a camping trip, etc. The Freestyle is also a pioneer in that it is the first portable projector that can be powered from a standard E26 bulb holder in addition to a standard electrical outlet without additional electrical installation. The option to connect to an E26 bulb socket will be the first to be possible in the USA. Due to local conditions, this option is not yet available in the Czech Republic.

When not in use as a streaming projector, The Freestyle can be used as a source of mood lighting when the translucent lens cap is attached. It also works as a smart speaker, and can even analyze music and synchronize visual effects with it that can be projected onto the wall, floor or anywhere else.

The Freestyle also offers options similar to Samsung's smart TVs. It has built-in streaming services and features for mirroring and casting that are compatible with mobile devices with systems Android i iOS. It is the first portable projector in its category to be certified by the world's major over-the-air (OTT) media content partners for viewers to enjoy in maximum quality. In addition, you can pair it with a Samsung smart TV (Q70 series and above) and play regular TV broadcasts even when the TV is turned off.

It is also the first projector to support Remote Voice Control (FFV), allowing users to choose their favorite voice assistants to control the device touch-free.

In the Czech Republic, The Freestyle will be available for pre-order from January 17, and sales are expected to begin in February. Those interested from the Czech Republic can already pre-register on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/projectors/the-freestyle/the-freestyle-pre-registration and win The Freestyle projector (wins the 180th registered according to the terms of the competition). The recommended retail price for the Czech Republic has not yet been determined.
