Galaxy The Z Flip3 is Samsung's most affordable foldable model, while still managing to offer flagship performance. However, compared to the Z Fold series, it lacks at least one key thing, which is a really usable external display. It does have it from the Flip3, but it's too small to use as your main one. Or not?

At least the developer going by the name jagan2 was quite annoyed by this. That's also why he created the CoverScreen OS mod that's available on the XDA forum. The installation will give you the opportunity to access the full range of applications, i.e. launch them or perform actions directly from notifications, without having to open the phone at all. You can even change the orientation to portrait to use some apps more easily. Although the actual utility is of course limited, it can really come in handy for specific events.

The main use can be, for example, a shortcut for quick access to Samsung Pay, so you pay through the phone without having to open it. Otherwise, it is probably not too much to say that you will use this display modification day in and day out. Although the external display is larger than the one in the previous generation, it is still too small to be considered full-fledged for many tasks.
