A watch Galaxy Watch4 to Watch4 Classic is the only smartwatch on the market that uses the system Wear OS. But as it seems, this exclusivity will soon end for them. Google is developing its first smartwatch with an operating system Wear OS 3, tentatively named Google Pixel Watch, which would according to recent rumors they could come as early as May 26.
System Wear OS 3 is the result of a joint effort by Samsung and Google, so it is quite logical that the latter company will come up with some solution of its own. Samsung previously used the operating system Tizen OS, but abandoned it for good. It is worth recalling that Wear OS 3 for the series Galaxy Watch 4 still has the proprietary One UI user interface. So once Google releases its Pixel watch Watch, they won't look or feel like a Samsung watch. Their software environment, although similar at the core, will be quite different.

As for the design, Pixel Watch should have a round display without the presence of an external bezel. The first renders show a rather elegant device with straps in several colors. We could most likely wait for the official announcement on May 26, the day on which, according to the first rumors, Google should plan its I/O event. However, until the company expands its distribution to other markets, it has no chance of achieving greater sales success. At least it doesn't have an official presence here, so even if its smart watches were sold here, they would be imported from abroad. After all, it is the same with its other products, such as Pixel phones or Nest smart speakers.

It is expected that the price of Google's solution should copy rather the basic version of the watch Galaxy Watch4, although we don't know if it will offer more case size variants, their materials and, after all, watch specifications. In any case, the price will matter more than a lot, because the company will go directly with its solution Apple Watch.
