In its latest usage report, Viber reveals a 10% increase in call volume and an almost equal increase in time spent on voice and video conversations. Slovaks sent 12 billion messages in 2 months. Users in Slovakia made the most calls and sent the most messages during popular national holidays, New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. Viber reports that 60 million stickers peppered chats in Slovakia in 2021, a 20% increase over 2020.

Last year, Viber celebrated its 11th birthday, reaching the milestone of 1 billion system installations Android and in partnership with Snap Inc. Lenses became another milestone for the company - since their launch in the fall, users in Slovakia have created a total of 500 Viber lenses. Viber Lenses, created with the goal of revitalizing communication between end users, are also available for the marketing strategies of brands and organizations. In 2021, Rakuten Viber and Sloboda Zvierat joined forces to help as many animals as possible find their new homes. The campaign reached thousands of people through an information community in which they told the stories of homeless animals, supported by a pack of stickers dedicated to these needs.

As the use of Viber continues to grow among users, brands are showing more interest in Viber's business management solutions to enhance the level of communication they can get with their consumers on their favorite messaging app. In 2021, Viber in Slovakia saw a 45% increase in the number of chatbots with a 20% increase in user engagement.
