As you may recall, Motorola unveiled its new flagship in China in December called the Edge X30, which is said to be a clear challenger to the lineup Samsung Galaxy S22. It was the first ever smartphone powered by a chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen1. Now they have appeared informace, that the phone, albeit under a different name, could very soon head to international markets.

According to the usually well-informed website 91Mobiles, the Motorola Edge X30 will arrive in India and other international markets during February under the name Edge 30 Pro. The global version could reportedly come in more colors than the Edge X30, which is only available in black and white in China.

In terms of specifications, it seems that everything will remain the same, so potential buyers can expect a 6,7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a 144Hz refresh rate, a triple camera with a resolution of 50, 50 and 2 MPx (the second is "wide" and the third serves for capturing depth of field), 60 MPx front camera, support for 5G networks, a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh and support for fast charging with a power of 68 W (according to the manufacturer, it charges from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes). It must not be missing either Android 12. At the moment, it is not clear whether the global version will have a sub-display selfie camera (in China this variant is sold under the name X30 Special Edition), which would give the phone a significant competitive advantage (recall that Samsung's smartphones have a sub-display "jigsaw" camera Galaxy From Fold 3).
