With the flexible phones it has launched so far, Samsung has shown the world that it is serious about this smartphone segment. At the end of last year, he also "pulled out" with form factors that are possible with its flexible OLED displays. It has also been speculated for some time that it is working on flexible laptops. According to the latest news from South Korea, the introduction of these unique devices might not be far off.

According to Korean site m.blog.naver, which cites SamMobile, Samsung is working on flexible laptops called Galaxy Book Fold. He said he would like to launch them on the market soon, but it is not clear if this will happen this year. The company is said to be developing several prototypes with diagonals of 10, 14 and 17 inches. Already at the end of last year, there were reports that Samsung was working on a flexible laptop called Galaxy Book Fold 17 (probably the mentioned prototype with the highest diagonal).

However, the Korean tech giant is reportedly facing some manufacturing issues, particularly with regards to the yield of these large flexible panels. It is for this reason that their introduction to the scene this year is uncertain. However, according to some voices, Samsung could reveal the flexible laptop in the form of a trailer already today as part of the event Galaxy Unpacked 2022 or in the coming months.
