In the hour that Galaxy Unpacked 2022 lasted, quite a lot happened. This is also why certain things could not be attended to immediately, but they are gradually coming to the surface. A lot of information about individual devices was also leaked on the Internet long before the event itself. However, some questions could only be answered after the official unveiling of the news.

Charging

On the one hand, we have Nubia, which plans to launch a phone that can charge at 165W, but Samsung has not yet crossed the 45W barrier. Not even last year's Galaxy The S21 Ultra failed to do so, despite its predecessors in form Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 10+ could do it. She has improved a lot Galaxy Is the S22 a situation at all, or is Samsung resigned to the fact that 25W is its peak?

Basic model Galaxy As expected, the S22 has a maximum power of "only" 25 W. Considering the battery capacity, which is 3 mAh and thus 700 mAh less than the Galaxy S21, it's not that big of a deal. On the other hand, Samsung claims that the battery models Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy The S22 Ultra can be charged to 50% in 20 minutes thanks to their support of at least 45W fast charging. Fast 15W Qi/PMA wireless charging and 4,5W reverse wireless charging have been retained.

SD card slot

Unfortunately, none of the models Galaxy The S22 does not have a microSD card slot, hybrid or otherwise. Therefore, after purchasing it, it will not be possible to expand the storage capacity of the series phone externally Galaxy S22 and you will have to rely on cloud storage. Of course, this is not the first time that the company has made such a decision. Not even the previous generation of the series Galaxy The S21 was not equipped with a microSD card slot.

Again, it is advisable to choose the ideal storage size already when purchasing the device. These are available in 128 or 256GB variants in the case of the S22 and S22+ series, if you go for the Ultra model, it can be purchased here with 512GB of storage and abroad with up to 1TB.

3,5mm jack connector

Gone are the days when we actually found a 3,5mm jack on all devices. While some mid-range phones and low-end models still feature a headphone jack, Samsung has removed it from the specifications of its premium and ultra-premium flagship phones. But to a certain extent, it is a trend that he already established years ago Apple.

The world is now moving towards true wireless earphones (TWS) that connect to devices via Bluetooth and offer good sound quality, features like ANC (active noise cancellation) and more. And what's more, with pre-orders of the new series you get one of these for free, so the absence of a connector doesn't really have to bother you so much. By removing it, more space was left inside the body for other components and the IP68 resistance could also be maintained.

Newly introduced Samsung products will be available for purchase, for example, on Alza
