After launching Expert RAW pro Galaxy S21 Ultra in November of last year, Samsung plans to provide this application to its other devices as well. According to a post on the company's official forum, the Expert RAW application will be available for more devices from February 25 Galaxy. That's when the app will also transition from beta to its stable version.

The forum post didn't say anything specific about which Samsung phones will get the Expert RAW app, but it did specify that only owners of high-end flagship models can look forward to it. In case you're not familiar, Samsung's Expert RAW app gives users full control over the device's camera, which until now could only be Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Now, of course, is also counted Galaxy S22 Ultra, however, the company could extend support to the entire S22 series and throw in at least the Z Fold3, which is part of the brand's top portfolio. But neither is Z Flip3 or Z from the game Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. That it would get, for example, to such a Galaxy A72 is rather unlikely.

Shooting in Expert RAW offers a wider dynamic range, allowing you to capture much more, from the dark areas to the highlights found in a single scene. Various additional functions then allow you to take brighter and cleaner images even in low light conditions, while manual control functions (ISO, shutter speed, EV, manual focus, white balance, etc.) allow you to directly control the camera as you need it. Photos are then saved in both JPEG and RAW formats, with the RAW format able to be viewed and edited using the latest DNG-capable apps or software.
