The current hot new product from Samsung in the form of the middle model of the S22 flagship series arrived in the editorial office for testing, i.e. Galaxy S22+, in its very attractive pink gold (Pink Gold) color variant. For marketing purposes, the manufacturer also chose a suitably effective packaging. Check out the full unboxing.
When you expect to receive a small package containing a minimalistic box with the phone inside, you definitely don't expect to receive a really big and heavy box. But of course, the wooden crate with the crowbar hidden inside is only there for marketing purposes, so while it's really fun to dig inside in anticipation, don't expect to be able to enjoy the experience yourself.
Package contents without surprises
The box in which the phone is stored is truly minimalistic. Its black design is dominated only by the line designation and the inscriptions of the phone designation on its sides. Inside, apart from the phone itself, you will also find a molding in which a paper envelope with a tool to eject the SIM card tray, a USB-C charging cable and a simple brochure is stored. So don't really look for a power adapter or headphones here.

Although the color design may not suit everyone (Phantom White, Phantom Black and Green are also available), the glossy frames and matte glass back evoke a feeling of exclusivity. The only thing that slightly disturbs the otherwise precise design are the strips along the body to shield the antennas. But it's a necessary tax on the materials used, because no one wants to see a repeat of the problems that iPhone 4 suffered from, where it Apple didn't debug very well and the phone was losing signal. It's a pity that they are not at least symmetrically distributed on the body. However, this is not even the case with the latest iPhones.

Proven design
Of course, it is also necessary to take into account the protruding rear camera system, which is another tax for the demands placed on the quality of the resulting images. However, this is a common practice and we have to wait for some technical progress that can miniaturize them even more without suffering the quality of the result. Samsung Galaxy The S22+ has a 6,6" display, so for that reason alone it is evident that it is not a small device. Therefore, it is quite pleasant that its weight does not exceed 200 g. Subjectively, the device is not only relatively compact, but also light (6,7" iPhone 13 Pro Max weighs 238 g).
