A moderator on the company's official forum reported receiving a message from Samsung regarding the issue. The South Korean company mentions here that it is aware of the error and said that it is already working on fixing it. So a software update will be released soon to address this. Until then, Samsung of course recommends all users Galaxy S22 Ultra either reduce the display resolution to Full HD+ or switch to vivid color mode. It is not known when the update will be released, but it shouldn't take long. In addition, if the company manages to do it by Friday, then all new users will be able to install it immediately after unpacking the phone from the box, which will prevent the company from many contradictory reactions.

I personally don't have to worry about this error at all, because even though I pre-ordered my Ultra on February 9.2th, I won't receive it before March 15.3th. By then, the error will hopefully have been fixed.

I've had a Samsung for a few days now Galaxy S22 Ultra and I don't see any problem yet. The display is perfectly fine. It just seems to heat up a bit more than maybe my previous one Galaxy S21 Ultra. At the same time, I don't do anything demanding on it, no games or video work, etc.
Unfortunately, this is the fate of the Exynos 2200 chipset. Although we tested the model Galaxy S22+ did not observe any drastic heating.
