The popular communication platform WhatsApp has recently received a number of useful features and is currently testing even more features. Now it's been revealed that one of those features being tested is one that makes it easier to search messages.

WhatsApp beta for Android in version 2.22.6.3 brings a novelty in the form of a shortcut for searching for messages. The new feature allows the user to search for messages directly from the information screen of personal contacts and groups, without the user having to go to a specific group or chat and then open the menu with three dots. The platform is currently testing the feature with a small group of beta testers, and some of them are reporting a minor bug where the search shortcut is sometimes not displayed. At the moment, it is not known when the new feature will be available to all users.

Many features have been added to WhatsApp in recent months that users have been asking for for a long time, such as the option to send photos in uncompressed quality, transfer chat history from iOS na Android device or an option use the globally popular communicator on multiple devices at once. Currently, WhatsApp is also testing a number of other features, such as the ability to respond to messages using emoji or several features to improve the photo editor.
