The Games Optimization Service (GOS) function limits CPU and GPU performance in more than 10 applications, which of course was not completely understood by phone users. Samsung has already released its official statement on the case, although it is rather strange.
Predictably, Samsung claims in it that the reason for the restriction is to prevent the device from overheating during prolonged use of apps or games. However, the company is already working on a solution that will give the user the option to turn off this restriction, which will come with a software update. This will be a button that will allow you to force the GOS system (through the Game Booster application that is in the devices Galaxy pre-installed) to prioritize performance over everything else (including battery life).

However, one may be a bit confused as to what Samsung actually means by this. If you look into Game Booster, you will already find the option of prioritizing performance (as well as battery saving, for example). So the question is whether you will have to select the apps and games you want to give full device capabilities to manually, or if Samsung will just expand the Game Optimization menu to include the password Unlimited, etc.

"Our priority is to provide the best customer experience when using our mobile phones. Game function Optimizing Service (GOS) was designed to help gaming applications achieve high performance while effectively managing device temperature. The GOS service does not adjust the performance of non-gaming applications. We value the feedback we receive about our products and after careful consideration, we plan to release a software update soon that will allow users to control the performance of gaming applications.”
Bullshit in a cage, you just need to throw the magical connection hidden under the abbreviation GOS into the Google search engine, or even better on YouTube, and you will immediately understand how things are with the optimization in reality. Fortunately, you can also find there how to deactivate it, if you can no longer uninstall it even through the adb command line.
The problem will be that the average user has no idea that something like this exists and that it behaves like this, so it will be difficult to find information on how to disable it.
