The increasingly ambitious Chinese company Realme presented a new mid-range smartphone called Realme 9 5G SE, which could go after the upcoming Samsungs in this category. It attracts, among other things, a fast chipset in its class, a very high refresh rate of the screen or a large battery.

Realme 9 5G SE (SE stands for "Speed ​​Edition"; specifically, it is a faster version of the Realme 9 Pro phone) got a 6,6-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is powered by a powerful mid-range Snapdragon 778G chipset (by the way, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A73 5G), which complements 6 or 8 GB of operating memory and 128 GB of expandable internal memory.

The camera is triple with a resolution of 48, 2 and 2 MPx, while the main one has a lens aperture of f/1.8 and omnidirectional PDAF, the second fulfills the role of a macro camera and the third is used to capture the depth of field. The front camera has a resolution of 16 MPx. The equipment includes a fingerprint reader or a 3,5 mm jack built into the power button.

The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 30 W (according to the manufacturer, it charges from 0 to 50% in 25 minutes). The operating system is Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 superstructure. The phone will go on sale from March 14 in India and its price will start at 19 Indian rupees (roughly CZK 999). It is not yet clear if he will also look at the international market.
