We probably don't need to repeat here that the undisputed king in the field of flexible phones is the Korean technology giant Samsung. Although some competitors (like Xiaomi or Huawei) are trying their best to catch up with Samsung in this area, they are not very successful so far, even if their "flexible" attempts are not bad. For some time now, there has been a lot of talk behind the scenes that another Chinese player, Vivo, will soon enter the foldable smartphone market. Now on the Chinese social network Weibo have surfaced photos that purportedly show its first flexible Vivo X Fold model.

The alleged Vivo X Fold was apparently caught in a Chinese subway while it was hidden from prying eyes in a thick protective case. The device appears to fold inwards and there is no visible notch in the middle of the panel. According to previous unofficial information, the complex joint mechanism of the Chinese manufacturer is behind its absence. It is also speculated that the display will be protected by UTG glass. A drawing of the phone has already leaked, according to which it will have a quad rear camera, one of which will be periscope, and its outer display will have a circular cut-out for the selfie camera.

In addition, it is speculated that the device will get an 8-inch OLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and a battery with a capacity of 4600 mAh and support for 80W fast wired and 50W wireless charging. When the new product could be introduced and whether it will be available on international markets is not known at this time. But something tells us that the Vivo X Fold could be the "puzzle" that could really trouble the flexible Samsungs.
