Another popular game from major platforms is coming to mobile phones. Although this time it is not a billion-dollar brand, fans of various roguelikes and roguelites will certainly know the name of the game. Monster Train from developer Shiny Shoe continues the tradition of card roguelites based on the now cult Slay the Spire. It premiered on touch screens last year, Monster Train's transition from consoles to phones with Androidem lasts two years so far.

In the meantime, a huge number of different copies of the already mentioned Slay the Spire appeared on Google Play. We must therefore point out that even though Monster Train is based on a popular game, it modifies its mechanics in such a way as to create an original, and above all extremely addictive, game. Even in Monster Train, you will classically build a deck from randomly offered cards. However, these do not only represent various attacks and spells. The main attraction of the game is the emphasis on the strategic placement of cards of various units.

You are fighting against enemies on board a multi-story train rushing at tremendous speed to hell itself. Your task then is to prevent the enemies from destroying the crystal, which is located at the very top of the locomotive. At the same time, the game offers a choice of four different factions with drastically different mechanics. We do not yet know the exact release date of the mobile version. So far, the developers have only announced that a mobile port of Monster Train is hard at work.
