This year, Samsung should introduce the successor to last year's smart watch Galaxy Watch4, which will probably bear the title Galaxy Watch5. All we know about the watch at the moment is that it could be available a new unique health function. Now, however, they appeared in the database of the Korean regulator, which revealed their battery capacity.

The Korean regulator Safety Korea states in its database Galaxy Watch5 under the code name SM-R900, which probably refers to the 40mm version. Their battery will reportedly have a capacity of 276 mAh. For comparison: the battery capacity of the 40mm variant Galaxy Watch4 was 247 mAh. At the moment, we can only speculate about whether the slightly larger battery of the "five" will have a tangible effect on its endurance.

More about Galaxy Watch5 is currently unknown, but we can expect it to come in two models (standard and classic) like last year, to be offered in multiple sizes, and to be powered by software Wear OS. According to previous anecdotal reports, they will enter series production in the third quarter of this year, which means they could be launched in August or September.
