Galaxy The Z Fold4 will be Samsung's first flexible phone with an integrated stylus, according to "behind the scenes" reports. Now she appeared on the air informace, which may be related to this. According to her, the Korean technology giant is working to make the display of the upcoming "puzzle" even more durable. The device is said to use improved UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) technology, which should make the fourth Fold's flexible display more scratch-resistant.

As you certainly know, Galaxy From Fold3 is Samsung's first foldable smartphone to feature the S Pen. However, compatibility is limited to the S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro only. These styluses offer the same functionality as the regular S Pen, but have a softer spring-loaded tip that protects the flexible display from scratches and dents.

Thanks to UTG, Samsung's "benders" are more durable than competing flexible phones, but they are still more susceptible to damage from external forces than fixed screens with Gorilla Glass. The Korean giant improves the UTG technology with each generation of the Fold and will do the same for the "four". At least that's according to Korean website Naver, cited by SamMobile, which claims that Galaxy The Fold4 will boast an improved UTG glass called Super UTG.

At the moment, it is not known how much more durable the new generation of protective glass will be compared to the current solution, and it is not even clear if it will work with regular S Pens. In any case, it is likely that the flexible panel of the next Fold will have a higher tolerance to scratches than the panels of its predecessors.
