Samsung as part of its event Galaxy A Event presented a duo of phones also intended for the Czech market, where it is the more equipped model Galaxy A53 5G. But you can also buy in the official online store of Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G. The interesting thing is that this is an older device at the same price. So which model to go for?
In terms of appearance, it is almost identical. We do have different color variants here, but otherwise you practically cannot tell the devices apart. However, the new product has a smoother transition from the body to the camera outputs and is still slightly smaller. Its dimensions are 74,8 x 159,6 x 8,1 mm and it weighs 189 g. Galaxy The A52s 5G has dimensions of 75,1 x 159,9 x 8,4 mm, but the weight is identical. Both devices are equipped with the same 6,5" (16,5 cm) FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with HDR10+ and an under-display fingerprint reader. Both also feature a 120Hz refresh rate, an IP67 degree of resistance, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Performance and battery
As for performance and RAM memory, the older model offers an octa-core 2,4 GHz, 1,8 GHz processor, the new model also has a brand new eight-core (2,4 GHz, 2 GHz) 5nm processor. There are two variants of memory, namely 6 + 128 GB or 8 + 256 GB. For the older model, only the 6 + 128 GB version is available in the Samsung store, but you can also get the higher configuration online. MicroSD cards up to 1 TB are offered by both models.

When you look at the smaller body of the new product and the same weight, it is quite interesting that Samsung was able to fit a 500mAh larger battery into it. Galaxy So the A53 5G has a 5000mAh battery, although Galaxy A52s has 4500mAh. But the charging speeds are the same because both models support 25 W Super Fast Charging technology.

Cameras unchanged
In terms of cameras, the hardware was not affected in any way, so the novelty still offers the same set of four main and one front camera. However, Samsung introduced many software improvements, which we write about in separate article. However, it is questionable whether this is such an advantage, because it is quite possible that even an older model will get all these options when updating the system.

So which one to buy?
It is evident that these are really similar models with a few minor differences. Due to the higher performance and larger battery of the new product, if you buy it at full price, it will be more worthwhile. This is also because you get free headphones with it as part of the pre-sale Galaxy Buds Live worth CZK 4 (valid upon purchase Galaxy A53 5G from 17/3 to 17/4/2022). However, be aware that you will not find wired headphones or a power adapter in the package.

But an older model is worth it if a seller makes a discount on it. After all, they may want to get rid of stock and therefore drastically reduce its price. Since there are really few differences between the two models, you won't be shortchanged on functions and options, but you won't spend as much money. Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G i Galaxy The A53 5G costs CZK 8 in its 128 + 11GB variant.

According to GSMarena, the A52s Qualcomm SM7325 Snapdragon 778G 5G (6nm) has an octa-core: 4×2,4 GHz Kryo 670 & 4×1,9 GHz Kryo 670. The A53 has an Exynos 1280 (5 nm), also an octa-core, but 2× 2,4GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×2,0GHz Cortex-A55. The novelty therefore leads not only in the technology used, but also in tact. We are based on paper specifications.
Also, I can't see anywhere that the a52s 5g has a 53mm audio connector compared to the 3,5
So if this is how you base your conclusions on paper specifications, then please do not publish any articles. You will only be a laughingstock and will mystify potential users who, after purchasing a "more powerful" device, will receive a device with half the power of its predecessor.
