Last year, MediaTek introduced the Dimensity 9000 model to the market with flagship chips. It has already appeared, for example, in the Oppo Find X5 Pro model. However, if the current rumors spreading around the world are true, this chipset could be integrated even by the biggest OEM Android device, i.e. by Samsung.

According to a post on a social network Weibo for once again it appears that Samsung is indeed working on a device powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. However, this is not the first time we have heard such reports. Samsung has already been heavily rumored to be among the OEMs that will be using this chip in the future. The post also mentions that this device could be equipped with a battery with a capacity of 4 mAh and a price between 500 and 3 Chinese yuan (000 to 4 CZK).

The original source gives several guesses about the upcoming device and mentions that it could be either Galaxy S22 FE, or o alleged Galaxy A53 Pro. But so far, no A-series device has been followed by a "Pro" revision, so unless Samsung changes its device branding, it's more likely that it could be Galaxy A83 or A93.

Galaxy S22 FE as a harbinger of change?

On the other hand, if he were Galaxy Indeed, the S22 FE launched with this particular chip, marking the first time this model range would use a different chip than its flagship predecessors. In the case of models Galaxy The S22 is of course Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chips. Replacing Exynos in particular would certainly not be the best news, because Samsung also needs to push it in the media so that other manufacturers will buy it from it. But the company is currently facing numerous production problems. But if it's your turn Galaxy Sales success with FE, Samsung certainly does not want the new product to be distributed on the European market with a chip other than its own (at least at the beginning of sales).

However, the use of a MediaTek chip would still not be entirely unique to Samsung. Already last year Galaxy The A32 5G ran on the Dimensity 720 chip in all markets where it was distributed, including the Czech one. This means that users who buy this phone can also look forward to adequate performance. The chip has the potential to be almost as powerful as its direct competitors Snapdragon and Exynos.
