At the beginning of the month, we reported that Huawei is preparing a new mid-range smartphone called the Nova 9 SE, which could compete with Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. Among other things, by having the same 108 MPx main camera. It was introduced in China two weeks ago, and now details about its launch in the European market have leaked.

Within the old continent, the Huawei Nova SE 9 will be the first to be available in Spain. It will be sold here for 349 euros (approximately CZK 8). Speculations that it could only cost between 600 and 250 euros were not confirmed. Pre-orders have now opened in the country and will continue until March 280. The phone, which will be offered in blue and black, could go on sale this month. From Spain, they will gradually head to other European markets.

Just to remind you – the smartphone has a 6,78-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 680 chipset and 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The camera has a resolution of 108, 8 and twice 2 MPx, while the second is a "wide-angle" with an angle of view of 112°, the third serves as a macro camera and the fourth as a depth of field sensor. The front camera has a resolution of 16 MPx. The equipment includes a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button.

The battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 66 W (according to the manufacturer, it charges from 0-75% in 20 minutes). The operating system is Android 11 with the EMUI 12 superstructure, but due to the ongoing US government sanctions against Huawei, the phone does not have access to Google services. This, together with the absence of support for 5G networks (for the same reason), is probably its biggest weakness. So the question is whether Samsung can handle such handicaps Galaxy A73 5G to compete realistically. However, the important thing is that, unlike him, it will be available on the old continent.
