Samsung regularly encounters leaks of various information. Even before the introduction of the series Galaxy With S22, we knew practically everything about it, the same with regard to new devices Galaxy A. Sometimes the messages will come from the supply chain, other times directly from the employees, either salespeople in retail stores or others. And that is the current case.

Magazine report KoreaJoongAngDaily namely, it states that an employee of the company illegally kept certain data, some of which were considered protected trade secrets. This employee was due to leave the company soon, so he took the opportunity to earn some extra money by taking pictures of some confidential data while working from home.

While Samsung confirmed the incident, it did not reveal much about the nature of the stolen data. However, some are believed to be related to chip manufacturing, specifically the company's new 3 and 5nm manufacturing processes. How exactly Samsung discovered that the data in question was photographed by a smartphone is also unknown.

The company was also fairly exposed some time ago serious leak, when hackers stole several hundred gigabytes of data. However, it was one of the few cases where such an entity managed to compromise the company's systems. The most common cases of data leaks are those coming from disgruntled or needlessly greedy employees. The problem with corporate espionage has gone so far that Samsung had to introduce i special regulations regarding Chinese OEMs who obtained confidential information from Samsung employees in several cases informace in exchange for ridiculous amounts of money.
