As you may remember, Samsung introduced the world's first last year smartphone photo sensor with a resolution of 200 MPx. At the time, the Korean technology giant did not say when and in which device the ISOCELL HP1 sensor would make its debut. However, there has been speculation for some time about one of Xiaomi's next flagships or Motorola's "flagship". Now the sensor has appeared in a photo with a "real" phone.

In a picture published by a Chinese social network Weibo, is apparently a smartphone Motorola Frontier. The photo reveals that the sensor has optical image stabilization and that its lens aperture is f/2.2. We could already see the sensor at the beginning of the year on the leaked renders of the mentioned phone, but it looked significantly smaller on them.

The main sensor is complemented by two smaller ones, which according to unofficial reports will be a 50MPx "wide-angle" and a 12MPx telephoto lens with double zoom. Even the front camera will not be a "sharpener", its resolution should be 60 MPx. The question remains, however, when the ISOCELL HP1 will appear in a Samsung smartphone. It most likely won't happen this year, but next year it could be fitted to the top model of the range Galaxy S23, i.e. S23 Ultra.
