Samsung has renamed its flexible phones in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia Galaxy From Fold3 and Galaxy From Fold3. Specifically, by dropping the iconic "Z" from them. He did so because of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Estonian, Lithuanian and Latvian Samsung website now Galaxy From Fold3 a Galaxy Z Flip3 lists names Galaxy Fold3 a Galaxy Flip3. The letter Z was removed from their name in these countries because it is a symbol of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Specifically, some Russian combat vehicles are marked with this letter. It is interesting, however, that the Ukrainian website of Samsung did not reach for this change, while it is here that the removal of the letter Z in the names of its current flagship "puzzles" would make the most sense.

Samsung seems to have made the change quietly as it has not issued any official statement regarding it. It's unclear at this point if he intends to Galaxy From Fold3 a Galaxy Rename from Flip3 in other countries as well (Poland would be offered, for example) and if it is in Ukraine, it will continue to be sold with the unchanged name. The Korean giant has already suspended the supply of all its equipment to Russia. However, he did not do so on his own, but at the insistence of Ukraine. At the same time, he donated several million dollars for humanitarian aid to the war-ravaged country.
