Yesterday, Samsung held another virtual event called Unbox & Discover 2022. It showcased its latest Samsung Neo QLED 8K model along with the redesigned Samsung Smart Hub and other user-first innovations that are set to redefine the role of the screen in the home and provide viewers with completely new viewing experiences.

If you couldn't watch the event live, at least watch the video below. Samsung unveiled its 8 Neo QLED 2022K lineup, soundbars, accessories and sustainability initiatives at the Unbox & Discover virtual event. With this new range, Samsung aims to redefine the role of television by creating beautifully designed, high-end screens that offer more than just entertainment. This year's products and features take your screen to new heights by providing one central hub for gaming, connectivity, work and more.

Neo-QLED 8K

The 8 Neo QLED 2022K model has been upgraded to deliver a new level of big screen experience. At its heart is the Neural Quantum Processor 8K, the latest processor that has 20 independent AI neural networks, each of which analyzes content properties and image quality for optimal viewing regardless of the source. It also powers the new Real Depth Enhancer technology. It scans the screen and maximizes the contrast with the background by enhancing the subject while leaving the background raw. It works similar to the way the human eye perceives an image in real life, making the object on the screen stand out from the background.

For true immersion, TVs and screens need powerful and tuned sound to match rich colors and sharp details. The artificial intelligence of the Neural Quantum Processor 8K analyzes in real time what is happening on the screen, so the adaptive sound functions can follow and move between the speakers to precisely match the movement on the screen. In the QN900B, the Neo QLED 8K flagship, all sound comes from a 90W 6.2.4-channel audiossystem with Dolby Atmos technology with Object Tracking Sound Pro. This technology has also been used for voice recognition with Voice Tracking Sound technology, so sound effects and voices actually follow movement across the screen.

Smart Hub

Samsung also introduced Smart Hub, its new user interface that uses the Tizen system. It brings all aspects of a smart environment to one easy-to-use home screen. The new tab divides features, settings and content into three categories to make the user experience intuitive and seamless. These are Media, Gaming Hub and Ambient.

Screen Media organizes users' entertainment options, including video on demand (VOD), streaming and Samsung TV Plus with over 190 free channels. It uses machine learning to learn user preferences to intelligently recommend all platforms and services to them.

gaming hub is a new game discovery and streaming platform that connects hardware and software to provide players with the best possible experience. Samsung also announced partnerships with leading game streaming services such as NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Stadia and Utomik, with more to follow. They will of course bring their titles to the Gaming Hub library. The new platform will be available later this year on select 2022 Samsung Smart TV models.

Screen Ambient pack it enhances the aesthetic of the home, whether it's synchronizing the screen display with the surrounding decor or making a bold statement with eye-catching art.
