If you look at Samsung's portfolio, you will find that it is incredibly rich. Under this brand, you will not only find smartphones, tablets, smart watches, TWS headphones, but also TVs, projectors, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, etc. But what the company lacked so far was, of course, services.

Samsung in devices Galaxy although he runs his own Galaxy A store that stands out, for example, with instant games. But that's kind of all. Apple, as the main rival of the company, however, understood long ago that there is power in services. Apple He launched Music in 2015, but in 2019 came the gaming platform Apple Arcade and VOD service Apple TV+. Specifically, with the last mentioned platform, the American company is currently celebrating an unprecedented success, when it was the first video-on-demand service to receive the most prestigious award Oscar in the highest category, for film of the year. He received the film In the rhythm of the heart.

Galaxy Arcade

And because it is Apple Samsung's biggest rival, and since subscription services have a bright future, Samsung is also launching its own. Within his Galaxy Storu is so present Galaxy Arcade, which already contains over a hundred interesting titles. It is important that these are not only puns known from Apple Arcade, or those that take up GB units after installation. Samsung is going the streaming route, so you don't even have to install individual titles on your device.

It also doesn't matter what your phones and tablets are Galaxy performance. All processing takes place on Samsung's servers, so you only need to have an ideal internet connection, and then everything works like clockwork. It goes without saying that support is also available for the most common game controllers. The price of the monthly subscription is the same as in Apple Arcade, i.e. 139 CZK per month.

Galaxy TV +

We have the biggest player here in the form of Netflix, the HBO Max platform recently entered the Czech market, replacing HBO GO, and Disney+ will also arrive on June 14. To make matters worse, the Czech pool of VOD services io is growing Galaxy Samsung's TV+, again for a very competitive 139 CZK per month (just as it costs Apple TV+, other services have a basic tariff set at around CZK 199).

But Samsung is not going the route of providing its own content. After all, Hollywood is far away for the Korean company, so it will simply buy content licenses from distribution companies. We should thus expect a cross-section of the entire world cinema, depending on how the agents of the company will be able to negotiate.

When will we wait?

How do you like these services? We like it a lot because mobile game streaming is on the rise and it's tempting for brands to bring their video streaming platform to their own TVs. Unfortunately, we won't see even one in the near future, although of course we wouldn't be against it at all. Today is April 1st, and that's why we took the liberty of bringing a little speculative/April topic. But we still hope that at some point in the future we can just take this article and update it with just a few details, because it is not at all out of the question that Samsung will actually come up with something similar.
