A few weeks ago, we reported that the 40mm variant of the upcoming Samsung smartwatch Galaxy Watch5 will have a slightly higher battery capacity than its predecessor. Now the battery capacity of the 44mm version has been leaked. It will also have a smaller increase.

According to the database of the South Korean regulator Safety Korea, the battery capacity will be 44mm variant Galaxy Watch5 (codenamed EB-BR910ABY) 397mAh, which is 36mAh more than the 40mm version Galaxy Watch4. The same regulator revealed in mid-March that the 40mm variant of the next Samsung watch will have a battery capacity 29 mAh higher than its predecessor, i.e. 276 mAh.

It is necessary to keep in mind that a higher battery capacity does not automatically mean a better endurance. This is because the efficiency of the hardware has a significant impact here. Advice Galaxy Watch4 debuted with the 5nm Exynos W920 chip, which is more energy efficient than the 10nm Exynos 9110 chipset that powered the watch Galaxy Watch3. What chip will it use Galaxy Watch5, is not known at the moment, but with a probability bordering on certainty, it will be a chipset built on the 4nm process.

O Galaxy Watch5 almost nothing is known at the moment. Supposedly he will dispose thermometer and apparently two models (standard and Classic) will be available again. We can also expect them to be software powered by the system Wear OS. They should be presented in August or September.
