Samsung announced at CES in January that some of its smart TVs coming this year will support popular cloud gaming services like Stadia and GeForce Now. At the time, the Korean giant did not say when it would make the new feature available, but indicated that it would be soon. Now it looks like we'll have to wait a little longer for her.

Citing SamMobile, website Flatpanelshd noticed some minor changes in Samsung's marketing material, which were later confirmed by a company representative. The Samsung Gaming Hub service, within which the aforementioned cloud services will operate, will now launch "towards the end of summer 2022". In addition, its availability will vary from region to region.

It can be assumed that Samsung Gaming Hub will be available where Stadia and GeForce Now services are already available, which is also here. It's also worth noting that the first one can stream games in up to 4K resolution, while the second one can only "know" Full HD resolution. Cloud game subscriptions and a stable internet connection can easily turn a smart TV into a gaming hub, especially when current generation consoles are still hard to come by.
