Vivo's first flexible phone could be the first serious competitor to Samsung's "jigsaw" according to information so far Galaxy From Fold3. We already know what the Vivo X Fold will look like, but now the device has appeared in the first photos, where it can be seen best so far.
The images show a large curved display with thin bezels and a top-centered circular cutout, and what we've seen before: a leather-covered back with a large circular photo module with four sensors housed in a rectangular panel.
According to the available leaks, the Vivo X Fold will get an 8-inch flexible display with 2K resolution and a maximum 120Hz variable frequency, and an external display with a size of 6,53 inches, FHD+ resolution and a "non-variable" 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which will add up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal memory.
The camera will be quadruple with a resolution of 50, 48, 12 and 8 MPx, while the main one will be based on the sensor Samsung ISOCELL GN5. The equipment will include a fingerprint reader built into the display, NFC and, of course, support for 5G networks will also be included. The battery will have a capacity of 4600 mAh and will support 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone will be powered by software Android 12. Vivo X Fold should be available in at least three colors, namely blue, black and gray. It will be released on the (Chinese) scene very soon, specifically on April 11.
