Which Samsung devices got the new update (Week 14, 2022)

We bring you a list of Samsung devices that in the week of 4-10 received a software update in April. Specifically, it is a series Galaxy S21 to Galaxy Footnote20, Galaxy A42 5G, Galaxy A52, Galaxy M62, Galaxy A72, Galaxy Tab Active3 a Galaxy Watch4.

For series phones Galaxy S21 Samsung started rolling out the April security patch. It carries the firmware version G99xxXXS4CVCG and was the first to be available in Germany. The patch fixes 55 vulnerabilities that Google found in Androidu, and 33 vulnerabilities that Samsung discovered in smartphones and tablets Galaxy. The update with the new security patch is gradually rolling out to other countries and should reach all corners of the world in the next few weeks. Advice Galaxy Note20 received an update to fix issues with the fingerprint reader, which after the series received an update mid-last month with One UI 4.1, some users complained. More precisely, it is a biometric security patch (in version 6.0.0.5), not a classic firmware update that can be downloaded by opening Settings→Biometrics & Security.

On a smartphone Galaxy A42 5G "landed" the March security patch. It carries the firmware version A426U1UEU3AVC1 and was the first to arrive in Puerto Rico. It should expand to more countries soon. Telephones Galaxy A52 a Galaxy A72 received an update with the One UI 4.1 superstructure. For the first mentioned, it was the first available in Brazil, for the second in Russia. It should hit all corners of the world in the next few weeks.
