It's been almost half a year since Samsung released the Expert RAW photo app. It is the official title of the Korean giant, which allows users to take photos in RAW format and manually control settings such as shutter speed, sensitivity or white balance. Now Samsung has released a new update for it, which is supposed to improve the quality of pictures taken in low light conditions.

Expert RAW was originally only available for last year's "Flagship" Galaxy S21 Ultra, but Samsung decided to make it available for more devices later. They are specifically Galaxy From Fold3, series Galaxy S22, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy ZFold2.

Now, Samsung has started rolling out the latest update for the app which carries version 1.0.01. The release notes mention that the sharpness of images in "extremely low-light conditions" has been improved. The new update does not bring anything more. You can download the update by opening it Settings→Software Update→Download and install. If you don't have the app yet, you can download it (in the latest version) from the store Galaxy Store here. Of course, this assumes that you own one of the phones listed above.
