One of the many upcoming games from the world of Star Wars is Star Wars: Hunters, which deviates somewhat from the previous game production of the legendary universe in terms of genre. It is a team action from the third person point of view, which is developed by the well-known studio Zynga in cooperation with NaturalMotion. The game is set before the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and takes the player to a battle arena on the planet Vespaara. Each character has unique abilities, which encourages players to "mix" them as best as possible to find their favorites.

The game splits players into two teams of four, which means choosing the right hunter for the right team will be crucial, as each ability can turn the tide of battle one way or the other at any time. The title will offer various PvP modes such as Escort, in which players will transport certain cargo from one place to another. The next mode will be Control, which is a local variation of the classic King of the Hill mode. Finally, in a mode called Hutball, players will try to control the ball to score points.

Each character is divided into three classes: Support, Damage and Tank. As the names suggest, despite the fact that each hunter will have unique abilities, they will all have one of the mentioned roles, i.e. they will either deal as many wounds as possible, grant other characters temporary enhancements, or debuff enemies, i.e. deprive them of temporary enhancements. All the maps in the game take place in the aforementioned arena, however with different modifications to represent the classic planets in the Star Wars world, such as a snowy environment for Hoth or a dense forest for Endor.

Star Wars: Hunters is a free-to-play game, meaning you won't have to pay to play it, however it does feature microtransactions, both for additional content and premium currency. The title does not yet have an exact release date, it should be released "sometime this year". Except Androidua iOS will also be available on the Nintendo Switch console. A later conversion for PlayStation and Xbox consoles is also not excluded.
