We recently informed you that Motorola is working on a smartphone called Motorola Edge 30, which according to the specifications leaked so far, could become a mid-range hit. Now the first photos of this smartphone have leaked to the public.

According to the images posted by the leaker Nils Ahrensmeier, the Motorola Edge 30 will have a flat display with relatively thick frames and a circular hole located at the top in the middle and an elliptical photo module with three sensors. Its design strongly resembles Motorola's current flagship Edge X30 (known as Edge 30 Pro in international markets). One of the images confirms that the phone will support a 144Hz display refresh rate.

According to available leaks, the Motorola Edge 30 will be equipped with a 6,55-inch POLED display with FHD+ resolution. It is powered by a powerful mid-range Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, which is said to be complemented by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory. The camera is supposed to have a resolution of 50, 50 and 2 MPx, while the first is said to have optical image stabilization, the second is to be "wide-angle" and the third is to fulfill the role of a depth of field sensor. The front camera should have a resolution of 32 MPx.

The battery is estimated to have a capacity of 4000 mAh and should support fast charging with a power of 33 W. The operating system will apparently Android 12 "wrapped" by the MyUX superstructure. The equipment will also include an under-display fingerprint reader, NFC and support for 5G networks. The phone should have dimensions of 159 x 74 x 6,7 mm and weigh 155 g. The Motorola Edge 30 should be launched on the (European) scene as early as May 5. The 6+128 GB version will reportedly cost 549 euros (roughly 13 CZK) and the 400+8 GB version 256 euros more (roughly 100 CZK).
