Last week, a photo of one of the batteries, which are supposed to power Samsung's flexible phone Galaxy From Fold4. Now the Korean regulator has revealed what capacity its battery will have.
According to Korean regulator Safety Korea, they will Galaxy Two batteries power the Fold4: EB-BF936ABY with a capacity of 2002 mAh and EB-BF937ABY with a capacity of 2268 mAh. The total capacity will therefore be 4270 mAh, which Samsung will probably state as 4400 mAh in the official materials, which is also stated in the third generation of devices. So the endurance will remain practically the same unless the company manages to tweak the system more to make it less demanding. How fast the next folding phone from the Korean giant will charge is still unknown at this point (though it will probably be at 25W like the third Fold).
Galaxy According to unofficial reports, the Fold4 will get Qualcomm's next top chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, camera from "flag" Galaxy S22Ultra, improved protective glass UTG, a new joint design and should also be thinner and lighter. Most likely the software will run on Androidat 12 with superstructure One UI 4.1.1. Along with another flexible phone Galaxy From Flip4 it is expected to be introduced at the end of the summer.
And what don't you like about it? I'm writing from Fold 3, which lasts just fine for 2 working days...
Of course, everyone has a different style of using their device. In addition, the demands of our system, applications, and games are constantly increasing, so adding some extra capacity would definitely not be out of the question. On the other hand, it is possible that Samsung will win with optimization, so the endurance can remain the same. Personally, I wouldn't bet on it.
