At the Comic-Con festival, Rapture - a new brand of gaming accessories - was presented. This complements the wide range of gaming leader Alza.cz with a number of gaming chairs and tables, mice, keyboards and monitor holders. The company thus meets the growing demand of players for high-quality and affordable equipment for a better experience during everyday and casual gaming.
At the largest pop culture festival in the Czech Republic, Comic-Con Prague, Alza.cz presented the new private label Rapture. The offer of the largest Czech e-shop is thus being expanded to include gaming accessories, such as special chairs and tables, keyboards, mice or holders for monitors and steering wheels. All this in a typically gamer design with an emphasis on quality, ergonomics, durability and top-quality components. The Rapture portfolio will continue to expand throughout the year, but it already offers peripherals and other fully compatible and design-matched equipment with an ideal price-quality ratio.
"Gaming is one of the long-term successful and dynamically growing segments at Alza," said Ondřej Hnát, business director of Alza.cz, adding: "The pandemic has increased interest in gaming even more, so we wanted to give players the opportunity to buy quality specialized equipment at Alza, which is intended for gaming not only by design, but mainly by the parameters that we transparently state for all products." Last year alone, customers on Alza bought games, consoles, gaming PCs or laptops and special gaming peripherals for more than 4 billion crowns.
"Rapture, like all other branded goods produced directly by Alza, reflects our philosophy: We only create products that we would buy ourselves at home, that we are excited about and that we are extremely proud of," explained Jan Rajdl, Business Development Manager for private brands. "Thanks to the fact that we have control over the entire production process, from product design to its packaging, we can offer exactly the kind of products that are missing from the market or are not attractively priced, but which we know from our own experience and customer feedback that our customers are looking for ", he added.
Comfortable gaming for everyone
Already in February, Alza added its own line of laptops to its family of private brands. In the first wave, three models were introduced, one of which was purely gaming. The company will add five more models for gaming enthusiasts in the coming weeks. The offer will include several configurations in different price categories, so demanding users and players with a more limited budget will choose from them.
Alza notebooks, as well as the new Rapture gaming brand, build on the customer success of Alza PCs, whose sales rose by almost 50% year-on-year to more than 21 units last year. The Alza GameBox Core RTX000 Ti+, Alza GameBox Core RTX2021 and Alza Gamebox Ryzen RTX3060 occupied the first three places of the best-selling gaming PCs in 3070. The total turnover of the gaming section exceeded 3070 billion, making it one of Alza's segments with the largest turnover.
The Rapture chair collection currently includes seven models of different constructions. Each player can thus choose a variant in which he will sit comfortably and play just for him. There are both chairs designed for smaller, younger players with a load capacity of up to 100 kilograms, as well as those from the opposite spectrum, suitable for tall individuals with wide back rests and armrests adjustable not only in height, but also sideways, in depth and at an angle. You can choose from versions covered with artificial leather, with perforations in parts of the seat for better ventilation or with textile segments. The prices of Rapture gaming chairs and armchairs start at 3 crowns.
No gamer's den is complete without a proper gaming table that can accommodate everything from a gaming machine to monitors and other peripherals, while offering sufficient ergonomics. Rapture currently offers three models in black or red-black design at prices starting at 3 crowns. Of course, they have height-adjustable legs, cable organizers, drink holders or a hook for headphones. In addition, the Aurora model also offers a stylish, quite unique RGB backlight on our market. Other accessories Rapture offers gaming mice, keyboards, pads and monitor mounts. Alza's private labels are very popular, with sales doubling over the past year and becoming a billion-dollar product segment. In addition to electronics, they already offer, for example, household items, dried fruit or leisure equipment.
