It took quite a while for Google, as it introduced the one-tap quick reply feature along with others at the end of last year. However, he only mentioned "soon" about the release of the news, and even if it was not soon at all, now at least the driver's convenience will finally bring their conversations to "life".

Until now, the only way to reply to messages was while in use Android Auto, dictate them by voice. Android however, for several years now it has been offering quick replies that try to offer contextually relevant responses to various notifications. When with beta version 7.6.1215 Android Autos receive an incoming message and have Google Assistant read it out loud, and the system will offer you at least one suggested response, usually between three words and one emoji. With a single tap, the reply is then sent via your preferred messaging app.

There's also a "Custom Reply" option above the suggestions, which serves as a way to switch to voice dictation instead of waiting for Google Assistant to read the entire message before asking you if you want to reply. Tapping a big button is easier and faster than dictating an answer, but it still costs a bit of attention because visual inspection is still required. Of course, we do not know the line-up of the update distribution, but it can be assumed that the sharp version will be published soon.
