Google further stated that due to restrictions on access to user data, 98% of applications migrating to Android 11 or higher has reduced access to sensitive programming interfaces (APIs) and user data. In addition, it blocked the collection of content from advertising IDs in apps and games aimed at children, while allowing each user to delete informace about its advertising ID from any application. The tech giant also mentioned the security of its Pixel phones in the post. Specifically, he recalled that they use machine learning models that improve malware detection in Google Play Protect security services.
