Perhaps the most important piece of information is that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ should be around 10% more powerful overall than Qualcomm's current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. According to Brar, the new chip is also stable in early tests, with no complaints about its temperature (it had would overheat) and the battery life is slightly better than that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It is quite possible that the improved 4nm process of TSMC, on which the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ is supposed to be built, is behind all this.

Brar added that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ should be launched in early June.
