Does it also happen to you that you sometimes rush and accidentally delete a few notifications that may not be important, but could also be important? How do you find out what she informed you about? Fortunately, there is a solution for this called Notification History. It's just important to have this feature turned on.

If this is the case, the Notification History saves you the last incoming notification after closing it. As soon as you remove them from the notification banner, they will immediately move to the history, where you can easily find them. Therefore, the current ones are not displayed here, but only the closed ones. However, it is not the case that you would find everything historically here. History only remembers closed notifications for 24 hours. If you need more, for example a whole month, you have to reach for applications from third-party developers, such as Filter Box.

How to turn on Notification History on Samsung

It's not purely a One UI feature, so you'll find it on multiple phone models from different manufacturers. The activation and history viewing procedures should be more or less similar.

  • Open it Settings.
  • Choose an offer Notification.
  • Scroll down and select Advanced settings.
  • If you don't have the feature turned on, turn it on. If it's already on, you can see closed notifications below.

Notifications are displayed in a list from the most recent, so the most recently deleted will always be at the top. Notifications are also active here, so just tap on it and you'll be redirected just like if you were doing it the normal way.
