After long months of speculation and conjecture, developers from Blizzard have finally shared with the world their first mobile game from the famous world of Warcraft. It will not be a spin-off of a cult strategy series, nor an MMORPG in the style of World of Warcraft. The new Warcraft: Arclight Rumble game will take more inspiration from its already existing mobile competition.

The developers themselves compare the game to the popular tower defense genre, in which you defend yourself against hordes of marching enemies. But Arclight Rumble is said to offer a variation that will focus more on attacking with your own fighters. As in the case of the previous Hearthstone, Blizzard is setting the fictional game directly in the world of Azeroth.

Mysterious slot machines built using gnomish magic began to appear in it. In Arclight Rumble, you will be able to try controlling the most famous heroes and villains from the world of Warcraft. You, along with other units, will be sent against a number of different familiar opponents. To give you a better idea, the developers released a gameplay trailer along with the announcement.

Blizzard obviously took a lot of inspiration from Clash of Clans-style titles when developing the game. The more colorful version will surely attract millions of players, but perhaps not so much the die-hard fans of the entire franchise, who were probably expecting a somewhat serious mobile version of their favorite game world. The game does not yet have a specific release date, but pre-registration is already underway.
