Apple and Samsung are two of the biggest smartphone makers in the world, but their approach is very different. Apple favors simplicity, while Samsung focuses on versatility and a large degree of customization. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, where it is not easy to say which is better and which is worse - if we compare the same old models in the same price range and as a whole. However, here are 5 reasons to switch from iPhone to Samsung, because it's better in the category, or simply because it offers more.

Of course, this comparison will mainly revolve around the current flagship of both manufacturers, i.e. the phone series iPhone 13 to Galaxy S22, or their top models iPhone 13 For Max and Galaxy S22 Ultra. But it can also be applied to the middle class, for example in the form of the iPhone SE 3rd generation or a phone Galaxy A53. But keep in mind that these are subjective impressions, when you don't have to completely identify with them. We are also not encouraging anyone to change their stable, we are just stating the 5 reasons in which Samsung solutions have an edge.

More versatile cameras

It doesn't even have the best cameras and the results from them Apple, nor Samsung. But both are among the top photographers. If we were to orient ourselves according to the ranking DXOMark, it will work out better for us iPhone, but Samsung will simply offer more. E.g. iPhone 13 Pro Max has a triple system of 12MPx cameras, but Galaxy The S22 will offer 4, among which you will find a 108MPx camera great for really detailed pictures and a telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom.

Which one takes better photos? Probably iPhone, at least according to DXO, but you'll win more with Ultra cameras, you'll enjoy taking pictures with them, and above all, you'll have more diverse results. We don't have to compare just the top of the portfolio. Such Galaxy The A53 offers a lot more camera features than a similarly priced one iPhone SE 2022. If you just want to have fun taking pictures, you'd better choose a phone Galaxy than iPhone.

Deeper customization options

One UI is simply better than other add-ons from other manufacturers, and it's even better than clean itself Android. It has a sophisticated design, but still offers dozens of customization options. You can change the wallpaper, themes, home screen layout, fonts, Always On display, and even icon skins. Moreover, it is completely simple and without any complications.

Compared to that iPhone allows you to change only the wallpaper. Yes, changing app icons is possible on the iPhone, but it's a very tedious process and requires the use of the Shortcuts app, which many don't understand. You can't even customize the Control Center, add different indicators to the status bar, etc. If you like to customize your phone, the Samsung one will serve you better.

Better file management

Although iPhones have a built-in Files app, which is more or less iCloud storage, phones Galaxy they offer much better file management. Using the built-in manager, you can easily connect external storage and work with the data stored on it. Renaming or moving files or working with them across third-party software and apps is simply much easier than on phones iPhone.

After all, it is also based on Apple's logic in how it accesses data. According to him, it shouldn't matter where you keep it because he will always find it for you. But those who are used to the structure of the system Windows, they always have significant problems with this after the transition.

Better multitasking

Downloading files or data of third-party apps in the background is a miserable experience on iPhone. For example, Spotify stops downloading music files for offline listening a few seconds after you minimize the app or switch to another app. In addition, if you want to use two apps at the same time, it's simply not possible on the iPhone. At most you can watch a video in picture-in-picture mode and use another app to watch it, but that's about it.

On the phones Galaxy you can use two applications side by side and have the third application in a floating window. You can make them portrait, landscape, make their windows bigger and smaller, etc. Only iPads can do this, but iPhone-like functionality Apple not allowed yet.

Faster and more convenient charging

iPhones have always lagged behind when it comes to charging speed. Apple because it does not increase them due to battery saving. However, we will not find out to what extent this is his alibi. But it is a fact that with wireless Qi charging it only allows 7,5 W, if you want more, it allows a maximum of 15 W with its MagSafe. For phones Galaxy Qi charging is launched at 15 W. In addition, Samsung phones have a charging USB-C port, so it is more variable with those of other manufacturers and other products (headphones, laptops, cameras, etc.).

If you want to save battery, you can turn off fast charging and fast wireless charging, and at the same time, you can limit the battery charge to 85%. Apple for its iPhones, it only offers the Battery Condition function, but this only makes sense when its capacity really decreases and the device starts to turn off automatically for that reason. And of course it may be too late.
