Samsung revealed to the world its upcoming OLED display technologies, including dual-flexible and retractable ones. He did so at the ongoing Display Week 2022 conference. At the conference, the company demonstrated a prototype of the Flex G OLED display. This flexible panel can be folded inward twice to create a more portable mobile device. The Korean giant also showed a prototype of the Flex S OLED display, which can be folded inward and outward.

The company also showed off a 6,7-inch OLED slide-out display at the event. Unlike existing displays of this kind that extend horizontally, this panel extends vertically. This unique capability can make mobile devices more useful when reading documents, browsing the Internet, or browsing social media apps.

Finally, Samsung also showed a prototype slide-out display with a size of 12,4 inches. This panel extends horizontally from the left and right, allowing it to vary in size between 8,1 and 12,4 inches according to the user's needs. Some of the above display technologies could appear in devices in the future Galaxy. However, this future will probably not be quite close, but rather distant, and that is for several years.
